McBain's Catering - Fortrose & Rosemarkie Golf Club
Paul McBain and his staff (McBain’s Catering) started catering for members, guests and visiting golfers at the Club on Sunday, 13th April 2014.
Paul joined us from the North Kessock Hotel and where he had worked since 2002 and latterly as the Head Chef for the last three years of his service. Paul has been trained on the job by working under head chefs for the past sixteen years, including his own father who worked to very high standards in famous restaurants in the UK.
Paul is more than skilled and capable in running a kitchen as he regularly catered for large groups whilst at the North Kessock Hotel and the quality of his cooking is to a very high standard whilst using the best local ingredients and sources available to him in the trade. Paul explains ‘I have received a lot of compliments for my cooking at the North Kessock Hotel and I do get asked a lot to come out to the restaurant to meet our customers. The customers at the North Kessock Hotel were always full of compliments for my cooking. Here are a couple of examples of what customers have said about their meals; "Our meal was so tasty and the presentation was out of this world" and "I have eaten in some of London's best restaurants and this meal I had here is up there with them". I enjoy hearing good feedback from my customers and I take a lot of pride in the meals I provide which will hopefully add to an already enjoyable experience in the surroundings we currently have at Fortrose & Rosemarkie Golf Club so I hope that you will support me in my new venture’.
Paul is here to build on a reputation for excellent food.
Off-Peak Season Catering Hours up until the end of March 2018:-
Monday & Tuesday - Closed
Wednesday & Thursday - Catering Available from 11.00-15.00
Friday, Saturday & Sunday - Catering Available from 11.00-20.00
Peak Season (April-October) - Lunch from 12.00 to 17.00 and Evening Meals from 17.00 to 20.00.
